1. About this app

TechFab Production is a private factory management app for a BOPP laminated woven bag factory. It replaces the Excel order sheet and is used by the factory's own managers and shop-floor supervisors to record job cards, production entries, loom rolls, BOPP stock and daily Job Work Plans. It is not a public or consumer app. Accounts are created only by the factory's administrator.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: name, username, role and a password (stored only as a secure hash). Set up by your administrator.
• Factory records you enter: job cards, customer and product names, production entries (output, wastage, shift, machine, operator), loom roll weights, BOPP stock and plans.
• Photos and videos: only if you choose to attach them to a job card or production entry, taken with the camera or picked from your gallery.
• Activity history: who created or changed a record, and when, so that the factory has an audit trail.
• Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address and time of request, used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect your location, contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone recordings outside videos you attach, or advertising identifiers.

3. App permissions

• Camera: to take photos or videos to attach to a record. Optional.
• Photos / media / files: to choose an existing photo or video to attach. Optional.
• Network access: to connect to your factory's TechFab server (often over the factory's local Wi-Fi). Entries made offline are kept on the device and sent when the connection returns.

4. How we use the information

Only to run the factory's production tracking: to show orders, stages, targets and progress, to produce reports and printed job cards, to control who can see or change what, and to keep the system secure. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Where data is stored and who can see it

Data is stored on the server run by or for your factory, not on a public cloud service operated by the app developer. Access is limited by role (Admin, Factory Manager, Supervisor). Files are only served to logged-in users who have permission. Data entered offline is temporarily stored on your device until it is uploaded.

6. Third parties

The app does not include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not send your data to third parties. The server operator or hosting provider chosen by your factory may process data on the factory's behalf.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, sign-in uses expiring tokens, access is role-based, and connections should use HTTPS when the server is reachable over the internet. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and report a lost device to your administrator.

8. Data retention and deletion

Factory records are kept for as long as the factory needs them for its business and legal obligations. You can delete your own entries in the app where your role allows it. To have your account or personal data corrected or deleted, ask your factory administrator. Some records may be retained where the factory is required to keep them.

9. Children

The app is for factory staff and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
